- GREETINGS TO ALL THE NEWCOMERS TO THIS LIST. We'd like to
introduce ourselves. George and Rita Williams founded this ministry.
We were Mormons (Temple Mormons) for 20 years. We prayed to God
in 1992 to allow us to do a ministry speaking out against Scientology.
Six months later God led us to the truth: out of the cult of
Mormonism. We did not know at the time we were in a cult. No-one
had witnessed to us in 20 years. [George passed away to heaven
in March 2003 and Nicholas Stivers joined the ministry as Vice
President.]
- The Holy Spirit brought us to information about all the cults
and the present development of the New World Order. We began
bringing our research to you. Because all the research was already
done, we decided to build a library within Cephas Ministry. Our
newsletters are not designed to provoke
anger or resistance to evil which is strictly prohibited in Scripture.
It is to shed light on activities by those who would deceive
the elect by devious methods and systematic plans.

The news about churches is unedited unless indicated by Ednotes.
The church as we knew it, is undergoing disintegration. This
began on a fast track in the early nineteen sixties when the
Catholic Church produced liberal Vatican II to replace Vatican
I.
- The trend since then has been ecumenical which is truly what
the word 'Catholicism' means: a universal religion all
inclusive and multicultural. The Bible calls for a final church
which doesn't resemble what Jesus taught. The Word of God has
undergone many changes to fit the present mode. The Bible calls
for a falling away (the Bible unacceptable is it
stands) from the truth before Jesus comes back for His Bride,
the true believers are called 'Ekklesia.' Our newsletters prove
this fact and prove that the Bible is true from beginning to
end.
- The second section is about globalism
where we bring your attention to the social, political and global
trend, so called democratizing what is left. One third of the
world still remains to be taken over. It again proves that we
are moving to closure of the times of the Gentiles prophesied
in the Bible.
- The third section compliments End Time
teachings with what is happening in Israel. We describe and watch
for signs of the coming Tribulation to confirm that we are moving
into that space and time.
- Watchmen on the wall do not solicit memberships. We have
an email group that gets information when we upload new information
and a newsletter whenever it is possible time wise. We love the
Lord with all our hearts and minds and we love all people God
has created but especially those who love our Lord and Savior,

- Note from the editor, Rita Williams: We need your prayers

crash and had to reestablish our whole system and buy new equipment.
We had Best Buy copy the records but all got scrambled. With
a lot of prayer and much time we were able to get the hard drives

with his family in Colorado. He has four children. There has

- PETER HANS KOLVENBACH'S BIO ALSO KNOWN AS THE BLACK POPE

Jesuit Source - May 30, 2005] As was written in the previous
sketch, any person of the last quarter of the 20th Century, and
one familiar with the very recent history of the Jesuits, recognizes
the name of Peter-Hans Kolvenbach, the 29th General of the Society.
We must await the definitive account of his Generalate to give
us a true picture of his accomplishments and hopes for the future
of the Society and how they were carried out.
Peter-Hans was born on November 30, 1928, in Druten, a small
town in South-eastern Holland, not far from Nijmegen. He was
fortunate to have spent his childhood and adolescence close to
the German border where he was able not only to use his native
Dutch language, but German as well. It gave him a certain linguistic
bent and later he was able to acquire several other languages
including Arabic and Chaldean. He was able to switch rather easily
from one to another without missing a syllable.
- His early schooling was at Canisius College, and he soon
felt the call to become a priest. He entered the Novitiate at
Mariendaal on September 7, 1948 and studied Philosophy and Theology
in Nijmegen. He was ordained in Beirut, Lebanon, on June 29,

- JERRY FALWELL HOSPITALIZED AGAIN

- (AP) The Rev. Jerry Falwell was hospitalized in critical
condition Tuesday, battling his second case of viral pneumonia
in just five weeks, hospital and church officials said. Falwell,
71, was admitted to Lynchburg General Hospital shortly before
midnight Monday suffering from "respiratory arrest,"
the hospital said in a statement. He was put on a ventilator
and stabilized but remained in critical condition, the hospital
said. "He's resting comfortably and in stable condition,"
said Ron Godwin, Falwell's executive assistant. "It's a
recurrence of the viral pneumonia." Falwell, the founder
of the Moral Majority and Liberty University, had left the hospital
March 4 after 13 days, spending part of the time on a ventilator.

Apr. 4, 2005 The Rev. Jerry Falwell, founder of Liberty University,
has recovered from the respiratory distress that sent him to
the hospital last week, but is not expected to be released until
later this week, a director from the hospital said. "He's
in fair condition, undergoing some tests, but we're anticipating
he will be discharged later this week," said Tom Urtz, communications
director for Centra Health. "Doctors are still running tests
and specifics are protected, but they are trying to pinpoint
what was the trigger for his respiratory arrest," explained
Urtz. The 71-year-old television evangelist was sent to the Centra-related
Lynchburg General Hospital in respiratory arrest on March 28
and had to be resuscitated. By April 1, Rev. Falwell discontinued
all breathing assistance and was getting exercise by walking
the hospitals of his hospital unit, according to a release by
Centra. Meanwhile, in comments made to the Associated Press,
Ron Godwin, Falwell's executive assistant, said he expects Falwell
to be released by the middle of the week.

- EVANGELICAL STRATEGY STATEMENT GAINS APPROVAL FOR HEALTH
OF THE NATION: AN EVANGELICAL CALL TO CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY (entire

Ed Vitagliano, Agape Press - Almost 90 evangelical leaders have
given their approval to a document that calls conservative Christians
to go beyond their usual issues, like abortion and homosexual
rights, and involve themselves in such matters as poverty, justice
and human rights.
- Titled For the Health of the Nation: An Evangelical Call
to Civic Responsibility, the tome was crafted under the auspices
of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE). The
project was commissioned by the NAE at its 2001 convention, and
nearly two dozen leading scholars drafted the document.
- The document could carry substantial weight in the evangelical
community. The NAE says it represents 30 million people in
45,000 churches and 52 denominations in the U.S.
- Giving their assent were evangelical leaders such as Richard
Land of the Southern Baptist Convention; James Dobson
of Focus on the Family; Chuck Colson of Prison Fellowship;
the late Diane Knippers, president of the Institute on Religion
and Democracy; and author Ravi Zacharias. The American
Family Association is examining the document, but chairman Don
Wildmon said the ministry was already in agreement with the general
sentiments of For the Health of the Nation.
- "Evangelical Christians in America face a historic opportunity.
We make up fully one quarter of all voters in the most powerful
nation in history," the document states. "Never before
has God given American evangelicals such an awesome opportunity
to shape public policy in ways that could contribute to the
well-being of the entire world. Disengagement is not an option."
- While the statement admits that "American evangelicals
continue to be ambivalent about civic engagement," it establishes
a framework for understanding Christians' responsibility for
the culture around them.

- IRAQI PATRIARCH SLAMS US EVANGELICALS
REUTERS: MAKKA TIME, 20 May 2005 - The head of Iraq's largest
Christian community has denounced  American
evangelical missionaries in his country for what he said were
attempts to convert poor Muslims by flashing money and smart
cars. Patriarch Emmanuel Delly, head of the Chaldean Catholic
Church, said on Thursday that many Protestant activists had come
to Iraq after the overthrow of Saddam Hussein in 2003 and set
up what he called "boutiques" to attract converts.
Delly said Iraq did not need missionaries as its Christian churches
dated back long before Protestantism. As for trying to convert
Muslims, he said: "You can't even talk about that here."
- Christians make up 3% of Iraq's 26 million mostly Muslim
population, the largest group being the 600,000 Chaldeans who
are Eastern rite Catholics linked to the Vatican. Saying the
evangelicals were not real missionaries, Delly said they attracted
poor youths with displays of money and taking them "out
riding in cars to have fun".
- "Then they take photos and send them here, to Germany,
to the United States and say 'look how many Muslims have become
Christian'," he said. The patriarch declined to say if the
missionaries were a challenge for his church or if US authorities
supported them. [They are] Trying to convert Muslims. The idea
of converting Muslims has gained some support among US evangelicals
since the September 11 attacks, but foreigners who evangelise
in Islamic countries must keep very low profiles. Some were active
in Iraq in the first year after Saddam Hussein's overthrow, but
deteriorating security since then probably means many have left,
Baghdad residents say. "There may be between 100 and 200
there now," said Todd Johnson, an expert on world Christianity
at the evangelical Gordon-Conwell Seminary near Boston, Massachusetts.
"They're mostly aid workers, I don't think there is much
regular evangelising," he said. Many Muslim countries consider
Christian missionaries as part of a Western campaign against
Islam and punish both the preacher and the apostate Muslim severely.
Unnamed Iraqi groups killed at least five evangelical missionaries
last year. [There are] Violent attacks. At least 20 Iraqis were
also killed in bombings of Christian churches last year as unknown
attackers stepped up pressure on non-Muslims there. Christian
minorities in Muslim countries usually keep a low profile and
do not evangelise. Four US Baptist missionaries were killed in
Iraq in March 2004 and seven South Korean Presbyterians were
briefly kidnapped the following month. That June, an armed group
beheaded a South Korean truck driver who was an evangelical Christian.

- WHY FREEMASONRY IS NOT FOR CHRISTIANS
- Freemasonry is a self-serving secret organization that has

It is a Luciferian worshipping organization bent on domination
of the world. Freemasonry has become a religion unto itself with
developed rituals that omit reference to particular beliefs and
focusing upon an indifferent god called The Great Architect of
the Universe (GAOTU). For instance, one may not pray in the name
of "Jesus." If a Christian lodge does so, and it is
reported to the grand lodge, it can be closed. Nor, supposedly,
can one pray to Allah or in the name of any other god or goddess—though
pagan gods are often symbolized. Benevolence is not a goal of
Freemasonry. Benevolence is a method of mollification used to
promote goodwill for an organization that through prior criminal
activity had lost its public esteem. The development of the Shriners
and Masonic charitable organizations –no matter how good
the charitable works they do– are used to enhance the image
of Freemasonry — a major arm of the Illuminati and associated
organizations. Its secret oaths bind its members to come to the
aid of a brother, to lie when necessary, to protect a brother
even if he has committed a great criminal act. Masonic judges
are bound to set their brothers free should it at all be possible

- In this work of subversion, Freemasonry undertakes three
tasks which represents three successive steps towards the final

- The first step is the work inside the lodges. Freemasonry

The brethren formed in this way comprise groups active outside

- Secondly is the work of propaganda in the outside
world. Freemasonry has perfected a very effective technique of

of the speakers at the 1922 Convent of the Grand Orient expressed

field of political activity. The ideological propaganda, as described
above, runs parallel with the political conspiracy, whose object

- All this vast field of activity is protected by two secrets:
the esoteric secret inside the Masonic lodges; and the secret
political action outside the lodges.
- Let us now pass on to study the nature of the esoteric secret.
In the first stage, new members are attracted by Freemasonry's
generous and humanitarian professions of faith, and also by promises
of influence and concealed assistance.
- Candidates are carefully chosen and thoroughly vetted long
before they are even approached. When they are received into
the lodge, they are made to take an oath of secrecy, which is
renewed every time they advance to a higher degree. At this point
commences the second stage in the candidate's formation; as soon
as he has become a Mason, a process of doctrinal formation (or
brainwashing) begins, which will continue all his life.
- The statements of principle are cleverly worded in vague,
generous, humanitarian terms which can be interpreted in many
very different ways. Cautiously, and by easy stages, a neophyte
learns that these terms have a hidden meaning, a higher meaning,
which he will not understand until he has undergone further initiation.
In this way, he learns, one by one, of a succession of hidden
meanings, which he is told are an ascent towards the Light, and
in which he gradually becomes steeped. This is the purpose of
the succession of different degrees; if the Mason is receptive,
he climbs upward in the Masonic hierarchy, and yet he never at
any time knows exactly where he stands in it, nor how many higher
degrees or persons control the organisation. As in the secret
Communist organisation, one is never very sure whether the titular
degrees correspond to the real seat of power.

burdens that in ordinary times would not be theirs.
- As members of the Mystical Body of Christ, we have a duty
to take positive measures to oppose the crisis, according to
our stations in life. In doing so we cannot be deterred by that
false appeal to piety which urges us to indulge in the gross
presumption that "God is in charge of the Church",
if this is taken to mean that rank-and-file Catholics must do
nothing to oppose error and injustice perpetrated by members
of the hierarchy, but rather blindly submit to every decision

- Our Duty in Justice and Charity
- That is not the Catholic way. That is not what the laity
and faithful clergy did during the Arian crisis, and it is not
what we should do today. Our silence and acquiescence in the
face of this ongoing disaster would, first of all, be an injustice
to the Church and a betrayal of our solemn duty in justice as
confirmed Catholics, as soldiers of Christ.
- Then, too, there is our obligation in charity toward our
fellow Catholics, including our superiors in the hierarchy. We
have a duty in charity to our superiors to oppose what is happening
in the Church, even if that means taking the extraordinary step
of having to rebuke our own superiors in public.
- As Saint Thomas Aquinas taught: "if the faith were endangered,
a subject ought to rebuke his prelate even publicly." Why
is it both just and charitable for a subject to rebuke his prelate,
even publicly, in such cases? St. Thomas here observes that the
public rebuke of a prelate "would seem to savor of presumptuous
pride; but there is no presumption in thinking oneself better
in some respect, because, in this life, no man is without some
fault. We must also remember that when a man reproves his prelate
charitably, it does not follow that he thinks himself any better,
but merely that he offers his help to one who, ‘being in
the higher position among you, is therefore in greater danger,’
as Augustine observes in his Rule quoted above."1 Of course,
there is also danger to our fellow Catholics—the gravest
possible danger—from the current course of destructive innovation
being followed by certain members of the Vatican apparatus, who
have turned their backs not only on the Message of Fatima but
on the Church’s entire past.

of yoga (p.11) and mantra meditation. Even more disturbing
is his seat on the Board of Advisors of a New Age organization
called Hoffman's Institute (known for the Hoffman Quadrinity
Process).
For those who do not find the words of an unofficial biographer
(Mair) linking Rick Warren with Blanchard convincing enough,
Ken Blanchard, Rick Warren and Bill Hybels (Willow Creek) have
become team players at the Lead Like Jesus conferences and the
Leadership Summit Conferences, which take place across North
America. The three also have an audio set they co-authored together.
Incidentally, Rick Warren sits on the Board of Blanchard's Lead
Like Jesus organization along with Ken Blanchard, Mark Victor
Hansen (Chicken Soup for the Soul), John Maxwell, Bill Hybels,
and Laurie Beth Jones.
- Did Rick Warren know of Blanchard's sympathies when he brought
him in to help at Saddleback? Of course he did. And do you think
that Rick Warren and Ken Blanchard are going to train their "billion"
soldiers for Christ how to practice New Age mysticism and learn
how to go into altered states of consciousness? You bet. And

- RICK WARREN'S NEW ASSOCIATE KEN BLANCHARD APPEARS TO BE A
NEW AGE PRACTITIONER. Notes compiled by J. Hancock - Recently
I have been engaged in some research into 40 days of Purpose
and Rick Warren. This has mainly been due to the involvement
of my local church in the 40 days of Purpose program. The 40
days of Purpose book at first glance seems Ok. It has some good
stuff especially when he tells us it all starts with God, and
that we are created for His pleasure. Rick's focus on God's purposes
for us in His plans is a good start. Anyone who encourages us
to spend more time with Jesus should be commended. So for the
'good stuff' we thank Mr Warren. However along with the 'good
stuff in this book we find some problems.
- Plagarism?
- Fisrtly Rick Warren extensively uses material from other
authors without the correct acknowledgements and referencing.
Dr Robert Schuller is one such author whom Rick borrows from
frequently. A Book called 'Decieved on purpose' by Warren Smith
reveals this problem in great detail. (One wonders why Rick does
not offer the usual acknowledgements for use of others material)
- Secondly Warren includes quotes from 'New Age' gurus and
practitioners to support his theories. Bernie Siegel and Aldous
Huxley are two that really stand out. Warren Smith states:
- "Rick Warren's citing of the metaphysical Huxley in
discussing the importance of 'shared experiences' seemed as inappropriate
as his referencing New Age leader Bernie Siegel in introducing
'hope' and 'purpose'. Randomly quoting influential New Age figures
with no introduction or explanation as to who these people are
is not exactly what you expect from a shepherd who is supposed
to be protecting his flock."
- Thirdly Rick Warren relies heavily on paraphrased versions
of the Bible to structure his theological assumptions. Whilst
some paraphrases might add a little something to ones Bible reading
they cannot be used to formulate or support theology. Paraphrases
have more to do with expressing the individual authors view on
God than they do with revealing the full truth and weight of
God's word. The very fact that Rick has to rely on 'trendy'
paraphrasing should alert Bible Believing Christians to his
lack of regard for the 'truth'. More could be said on
